Even if CoolRGB is easy to use you still need some skills to combine the colors, the fonts and all effects together.
Please take your time and do tests with a large range of colors and font types before you are done.
Some graphics may look ugly but if you spend more time and focusing on what you want then you will succeed.

How to save my generated images ?
One thing you need to know is that we don't host the generated images. We only generate them using powerfull alghoritms and the latest technology.

To save them to your hard disk just right click somewhere on the image and choose the "Save image as..." on FF or "Save picture as..." in IE.

FF IE
For PNG files only: Never choose the "Copy image" option because the image is copied in memory with a black bckground. Choose the "Save image as..." instead because the image is always saved with a transparent background.

How to generate MouseOver and MousePressed effects for buttons?
If you want to generate buttons with MouseOver and MousePressed states you need to generate an image for every state.

The images must be generated one at a time and every image must be saved to a location. Finally create an html page and with a little javascript you will have the desired effect.

How to render images larger than 800x600 pixels ?
Using our software you can render images at a maximum size of 800x600 pixels. We add this restriction because we don't want to have trouble with the server. Rendering huge images may result in server instability. Also rendering a bigger image takes a lot of time and make other users to wait a lot until they will be served.

We will show you an workaround to this limitation. For example if you want to render the "Welcome to our site" logo with a font of size "100" the resulting text will not fit in the image even if you specify an "800" width.

What you can do is to render the image in parts. First render the "Welcome " text then render the "to our site" text. Then use a software to merge those two images into one image. We use Paint.NET a lot. You can use it too, is freeware and opensource. You can get the tool from http://www.getpaint.net

How to make my text fit on the image when i have the "Autosize by text" option checked?
When you generate graphics with the "Autosize by text" option checked then coolrgb will automatically resize all graphics for you based on the Font height. But sometimes the text may not fit exactly in the generated image because some of the fonts does not scale exactly. Even if you specify a Font of height "50" the rendered text may have an height of "45" or "55". This doesn't affect only the Height but also the Width of the rendered text.

If you render the "Blazed" text on a button
your rendered image may look like this:

In order to fix this problem
render the " Blazed " text instead:

Notice that in the second image the text has two " " characters, one before and one after the "Blazed" text. So you effectively render the " Blazed " text.

Why reflections appear so far from the text?
When you apply a Reflection effect to the image, sometimes the reflection is rendered to far from the text. That's because some fonts renders smaller or bigger then the Height value specified.

To fix this simply tweak the "Offset" property of the Reflection effect until you get an image like this:

Be sure you read the FAQ section before using CoolRGB. There are treated several cases where you may need help:
